                                                      Amy Wilbur

Amy always knew she would end up in an animal related field. After high school she gained a lot of experience and knowledge about dogs working as a dog daycare attendant, during which she became a Certified Pet Care Technician and shortly there-after an Advanced Certified Pet Care Technician through the American Boarding Kennel Association. She became a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2008 and continued volunteer work at the Animal Welfare Society. In 2009 she got her pet grooming diploma at the University of New Hampshire and decided to pursue grooming as her profession. She then added a continuing education course through Animal Behavior College for training shelter dogs to her training and in 2012 she went to Intergroom, a grooming convention in Secaucus, NJ, attending numerous seminars.

In August of 2017 she opened her home salon and never looked back. It allows her to take her time and provide the individualized care that each dog needs. She has added to her certificates through the years through online education and webinars as well as following fellow professional groomers to continually improve her skills. She prides herself on being well-rounded and has no intentions to stop continuing her education.

A look inside the shop. Dogs are able to enjoy the views and natural sunlight while they’re being groomed, watch squirrels, birds and chickens roam the property. We are equipped with a deep-cleansing hydrotherapy bathing system, numerous warm air dryers with variable settings to set to their comfort, a clipper vac system which allows me to make even the most stubborn coats neat and even, and all the tools in between.
